Ridged Purple Bowl

This medium sized bowl was part of demo for my Saturday students. Thrown on the wheel to show them how to use textured ribs to create the outer ridges on the bowl; or any piece they were going to create. The clay is Plainsman M340 which is a buff stoneware. Then used several layers of different glazes to achieve the gorgeous inside. Glazes used are from Spectrum, Mayco, and Amaco .
