Small Bloom Vases

These vases began as simple wheel-thrown forms. They grew into something more expressive as I experimented with creating movement. While I usually reach for bright colours. Here I was drawn to the texture of the dark magma glaze and the contrast with the layered colours inside. Both are made from Tucker’s Bright White clay, with black underglaze and dark magma on the outside. And layered Spectrum glazes on the inside.
